Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash Management: 
  • Oversight of daily cash management involves monitoring cash positions, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations, and optimizing cash balances.
  • We forecast short-term and long-term cash flow requirements to ensure the availability of funds for business operations and growth initiatives.
  • Cash positioning is managed to maximize efficient use of funds and minimize idle balances.
  • A rolling cash flow forecast is developed and maintained to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs and debt servicing.
  • Bank Relationships and Debt Management:
  • Strong relationships are developed and maintained with banking partners to manage banking services, account structures, and bank fees.
  • Favourable terms and conditions are negotiated with banking institutions to optimize cash management services and costs.
  • Oversight of debt management includes the monitoring, structuring, and refinancing of debt, including charge creation and corporate guarantee management.
  • Securitization operations involve providing collateral to debt partners.
  • Cash obligations are ensured to be met on time and financing structures align with our financial strategy.
  • Relationships with credit rating agencies are maintained, ensuring compliance with debt covenants and financial reporting requirements.
  • Other areas:
  • Supervision of Export Promotion Capital Goods (EPCG) benefits availed and its consequent management and reporting in books of accounts
  • Cash flow trends, working capital needs, debt servicing, and potential financial risks are analyzed.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Opportunities for process improvements within cash management and debt management operations are identified to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Best practices in cash and debt management are implemented to optimize treasury functions and streamline operations.
