Job Overview

A Financial Support Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality application management and functional support to clients using Workday Financials. This role requires hands-on expertise across core financial modules, a deep understanding of business processes, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

You'll partner closely with clients to resolve issues, manage enhancements, and ensure their Workday environment is stable, optimized, and aligned to their business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain 3–5 years of hands-on Workday Financials experience in a support, analyst, or consultant role.
  • Develop functional expertise in at least three of the following modules: Financial Accounting, Procurement, Expenses, Projects, Assets, Customer Accounts, Supplier Accounts.
  • Apply strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Workday EIBs, Workday Reports, basic security concepts.
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

In addition to your technical expertise, you will need to be able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively. This may involve developing training materials, creating documentation, or providing on-the-job training to colleagues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience working with Workday Financials, as well as a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
