Eye Care Specialist Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• We are seeking a highly skilled Eye Care Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent patient care skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for taking patient history, conducting vision tests, and diagnosing eye conditions.
• They will also prescribe glasses under the supervision of a consultant optometrist and perform ophthalmic investigations such as biometry, OCT, FFA, and fundus photography.
• In addition, the Eye Care Specialist will assist in LASIK operations and premium IOL/LASIK workups.
• They will train optometry students, provide patient counseling, follow-ups, and camp screenings.
• The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to manage Vision Center operations independently, and be flexible to work across different locations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Optometry is required.
• At least 2 years' experience in optometry is preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills are essential.
• Ability to manage Vision Center operations independently and flexibility to work across different locations as needed is required.
