Senior Identity Solutions Architect

This role involves leading the design, build, and maintenance of secure identity solutions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Design and Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of Azure AD B2C tenant(s).
  • Custom Policies and User Journeys: Define custom policies (Identity Experience Framework) and user journeys.
  • Identity Experiences: Ensure scalable, secure, and user-friendly identity experiences.
  • Custom User Flows: Develop and maintain custom user flows using Custom Policies (IEF) and RESTful APIs.
  • Multifactor Authentication: Integrate multifactor authentication (MFA), social identity providers (Google, Facebook, etc.), and external systems.
  • Claims and Tokens: Configure and troubleshoot claims, tokens, SAML/OIDC flows, etc.
  • Security Best Practices: Implement security best practices (e.g., B2C session management, token lifetimes, IP restrictions).
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and internal security policies.
  • Security Assessments: Conduct security assessments and threat modeling for B2C apps.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product managers, security teams, and application developers to gather identity requirements.
  • Technical Communication: Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Subject-Matter Expertise: Act as a subject-matter expert (SME) for Azure B2C across teams.
  • Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and identity specialists.
  • Development Standards: Define and enforce development standards, code reviews, and best practices.
  • Tech Strategy and Roadmap Planning: Lead technical strategy and roadmap planning for CIAM.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging (e.g., using Application Insights).
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot authentication issues, token problems, and integration failures.
  • User Flow Analysis: Analyze user flow telemetry for performance or behavioral insights.
  • Staying Current: Stay updated with Azure B2C roadmap, new features, and Microsoft security announcements.
  • User Journey Optimization: Optimize user journeys for performance, UX, and conversion.
  • New Identity Technologies: Evaluate and integrate new identity technologies or partners (e.g., passwordless, biometric).
  • Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to liaise between stakeholders, developers, and security teams.
  • Project Leadership: Proven project leadership in implementing identity solutions end-to-end.
