Data Driven Insights Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to deliver actionable insights that inform strategic business decisions.

This role is a key position that supports the development of analytics solutions to measure program impact and help leaders understand workforce trends. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to translate complex data into clear stories that drive decision-making.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that drive business outcomes.

The selected individual will be responsible for building, maintaining, and automating dashboards and reports using various tools, such as Power BI, Workday, and Excel.

In addition, they will support HR initiatives by providing timely reporting and insight generation, ensuring high-quality data delivery and usability.

• Data Analysis and Insights:
• Serve as a subject matter expert for HR data, systems, and reporting structure.
• Translate business and HR questions into data hypotheses and insights.
• Conduct analysis and modeling to extract insights across the entire employee lifecycle, from hiring and engagement to performance and attrition.
• Analyze data from multiple sources, including Workday, Power BI, survey tools, and Excel, to identify trends and opportunities.
• Reporting and Automation:
• Build, maintain, and automate dashboards and recurring reports using tools like Power BI, Workday, and Excel.
• Support HR initiatives such as performance management, talent reviews, and engagement surveys with timely reporting and insight generation.
• Respond to data requests from key stakeholders, developing reporting tools and implementing processes to help the HR team access and use data effectively.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with global HRBPs, COEs, and IT partners to ensure high-quality data delivery and usability.
• Support Business Development (BD) and Proposals by providing workforce data insights that inform pricing, staffing models, and client expectations.
• Work collaboratively with teammates to share knowledge, problem-solve, and deliver best-in-class analytics support.
• Data Governance and Process Improvement:
• Maintain and enhance internal documentation and data dictionaries to improve transparency and consistency.
• Support efforts to streamline reporting processes, improve self-service capabilities, and increase overall data fluency within HR.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Management, Computer Science, Math/Statistics, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
• Professional experience in an HR analytics or reporting role, ideally in a global or matrixed environment.
• Proficiency in Power BI and advanced Excel (macros, pivot tables, formulas); familiarity with Workday reporting is strongly preferred.
• Experience with data storytelling and the ability to translate complex findings into simple insights.
• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and research methods (e.g., regressions, t-tests, correlation).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, balance priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A collaborative and proactive self-starter who is comfortable navigating ambiguity and can drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams or in shared services is preferred.
