Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced culinary professional to fill the role of Pastry Cook on our cruise ships. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of pastry and dessert menu items according to recipes and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook pastry and dessert menu items in accordance with established recipes and visual guidelines.
  • Manage assigned areas within the pastry galley, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve seamless pastry and dessert production, including setup, display, and plating.
  • Clean and sanitize working areas and utensils in compliance with USPH regulations.
  • Transport food items from main storage facilities to the pastry galley as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Pastry Cook in a high-volume hospitality setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and equipment usage.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
