Marketing Communications Role Overview

The Marketing and Communications Manager forms part of a dynamic team tasked with creating and executing communications strategies to engage our customers.

This position, under the leadership of the Director of Marketing and Communication, promotes brand awareness through various channels, including traditional, digital, and social media platforms, aimed at enhancing the hotel's image.

This role plays a key part in developing direct marketing plans, targeted campaigns, and activated channels to drive consumer awareness and preference, increase market share, and enhance broader portfolio and brand recognition.

This position focuses on showcasing Food and Beverage promotions, both to hotel guests and local patrons.

As part of the Marketing and Communication team, this role is fully integrated into regional resources; Marketing and Communication Managers collaborate closely with their regional eCommerce and Marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of local, social, and digital marketing efforts with sales initiatives for the organization.

This role encompasses a range of responsibilities, from balancing traditional and digital marketing and eCommerce activities to contributing to public relations (PR) activities for the hotel.

SUCCESS is measured by the impact on driving the sales and revenue strategy of the property, social media engagement, and effective utilization of available resources to create compelling marketing and communications campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute marketing and communication strategies to engage customers and enhance the hotel's image.
  • Promote brand awareness through various channels, including traditional, digital, and social media platforms.
  • Contribute to the development of direct marketing plans, targeted campaigns, and activated channels.
  • Foster partnerships with regional eCommerce and Marketing teams to integrate marketing efforts with sales initiatives.
  • Balanced traditional and digital marketing and eCommerce activities.
  • Contributing to public relations (PR) activities for the hotel.
