Key Responsibilities:- Team Management: Supervise and direct the daily activities of all laundry staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the department's goals.
- Quality Control: Monitor and control the quality of laundry services, ensuring that all items are cleaned and processed to the highest standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Plan and implement preventive maintenance for all laundry equipment, ensuring that it is in good working order at all times.
- Resource Management: Identify optimal, cost-effective use of resources, including power, steam, detergents, and other chemicals.
- Inventory Management: Keep a strict control and record of items sent for laundering by staff members.
- Communication: Co-ordinate with the Executive Housekeeper on the purchase and quality of room linen.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to have a strong understanding of laundry operations and be able to implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and quality.
