About the Role:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the end-to-end development of new products, driving innovation from concept through commercialization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that products align with our company strategy and meet market needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop innovative product ideas based on market research and customer needs
• Collaborate with design, formulation, and marketing teams to create product concepts and specifications
• Maintain a future product roadmap and optimize our current product portfolio in accordance with brand development
• Create products that reflect our brand philosophy and positioning
• Manage product creation across multiple cosmetics categories from concept to launch
• Develop artwork briefs and manage the approval process
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely order fulfillment
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional departments on product briefs, formulation, costs, and packaging
Requirements:
We are looking for a highly skilled Product Development Lead with 5+ years of experience in NPD within the personal care industry. You should have a proven track record of launching successful personal care products. Your expertise should include project management skills, tech transfer from lab to commercial scale, and Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
Estimated Salary:
$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience
