Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Valuation professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and valuation, with the ability to analyze complex data and provide insightful recommendations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing business valuations, analyzing financial statements, and providing expert opinions on various valuation matters. They will also be expected to work collaboratively with other team members to deliver high-quality results and meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial statement analysis
  • Business combination/purchase price allocation
  • Goodwill impairment
  • Gift and estate valuation
  • 409A/stock compensation (ASC 718)
  • Reviewing of 3rd party valuations
  • Assembling market/guideline/comparable financial and valuation data
  • Valuation of equity, debt, derivatives etc.
  • Litigation arising out of shareholder disputes etc.
  • Financial modeling

Requirements:

  • CFA, CA, MBA etc.
  • CFA or MBA (finance) preferred
  • Proven hands-on experience
  • Ability and interest to work on multiple high-value projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated proficiency in financial management software or willingness to learn
  • 8+ years' experience in business valuation field
  • Ability to think laterally and analytically
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
  • Sound independent judgement and great ethical values
