About the RoleAs a Senior Print Publication Designer on our DesignWorks team, you will support the creation of smart and consistent layouts for our print media products. You will work closely with our Manager, Production Design, and US-based Art Directors to execute the brand's creative direction. Your expertise in digital tools, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, will be essential in bringing our content to life on the printed page.
Your Day-to-Day- Collaborate with the Project Coordinator and Art Directors to complete design assignments according to deadlines.
- Utilize brand standards and templates to take design templates through layout to final printer-ready pages.
- Execute layouts using Mac-based Adobe CC Suite software, creating InDesign templates, establishing paragraph, character, and object style formats, and utilizing parent pages and other software shortcuts to maximize production efficiencies.
- Assist with color correction, ad placement, prepress processes, and final file approval in the InSite publishing platform.
- Ensure all pages are consistent and on brand.
- Work with editorial teams to identify image needs and search for assets from various sources, evaluating the quality, relevance, and licensing restrictions of each image.
We are seeking a curious and versatile graphic designer with a strong portfolio of print work and the ability to participate in and support the execution of the brand's creative direction. You should have hands-on experience with digital tools and be always on the lookout for new ways to bring content to life on the printed page.
