Job Description:

MNR Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Lead to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for leading the automation testing efforts within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automation Framework Development: Design and develop robust automation test frameworks to streamline the testing process. Enhance existing frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness of automated testing.
  • Test Script Development: Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing. Identify opportunities for test automation and develop test cases accordingly.
  • Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with development and QA teams to understand application functionalities and requirements. Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback from a testing perspective.
  • Test Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement test strategies and plans for automation testing. Analyze requirements and determine test case feasibility for automation.
  • Mentorship and Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of automation testers, providing guidance on best practices and methodologies. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Generate and present test reports and metrics to stakeholders, highlighting test coverage, results, and quality metrics. Analyze testing results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects found during automated testing. Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
  • Continuous Integration: Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure efficient deployment cycles. Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth execution of automated tests.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, TestNG, JUnit).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
