Job Opportunity:

Senior Biostatistician

As a Senior Biostatistician, you will lead the development of statistical methods and analysis plans for clinical research studies. Your expertise in statistical methodology, programming skills in SAS and/or R, and excellent communication skills are crucial to the success of our team.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee biostatisticians, associate biostatisticians, and SAS programmers to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Provide expert consultation on statistical methodology to projects across the organization.
  • Solve complex statistical problems and provide technical review of proposed statistical designs.
  • Lead project teams to develop study analysis plans and statistical programs.
  • Stay up-to-date with current statistical and medical literature to ensure adoption of sound methodologies.
  • Ensure scientific integrity and accuracy of reported results.
  • Perform sample size calculations and lead statistical design of research projects.
  • Review protocols and case report forms to maintain standards.
  • Develop study assignment allocation schemas and documentation.
  • Represent clients at regulatory meetings and provide expertise in methodological advances.
  • Participate in developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Qualifications and Skills
  • Master's or PhD in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology, or related field.
  • At least 4 years of related experience with Master's or 1 year of related experience with PhD.
  • Experience with methodological statistical research, including publication and presentation of work.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in statistical methods and applications in clinical research.
  • Strong programming skills in SAS and/or R.
  • Expertise in state-of-the-art data manipulation and statistical methodology.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills.
