Center Director Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and experienced individual to take on the role of Center Director. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our center, ensuring that all programs are delivered to a high standard and that our students receive the best possible education.

Responsibilities:

  • Program Management: Oversee the implementation of all programs at the center, ensuring that they are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Mobilization: Develop and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure the successful mobilization of students.
  • Enrolment: Supervise the enrolment process to ensure that all students have a positive experience and achieve their desired outcomes.
  • Training: Own the training process to ensure that all students receive the best possible education and achieve high-quality academic results.
  • Placement: Monitor and enable student participation in placement activities and organize placement drives at the center.
  • Batch Progression and Outcome Monitoring: Track the progress of all students and monitor their outcomes to ensure that they are meeting their goals.
  • Placement Support: Provide ongoing support to students to ensure that they are able to secure employment or further education.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Ensure that all reports and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
  • Build a Culture: Foster a positive and inclusive culture within the center, encouraging collaboration and teamwork among staff and students.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and community groups.
  • People Management: Supervise and develop a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their roles effectively.
  • Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of the center, ensuring that all budgets are met and that resources are allocated efficiently.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure that the center is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations, and that all reporting requirements are met.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in any discipline.
  • 5 years of experience in the skill development industry, with 3 years in team management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in donor-funded skilling operations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to demonstrate patience and perseverance.
  • Ability to counsel students.
  • Must have an inclination towards society and working for marginalized communities.
  • Prior experience as a Center Head in skill development projects is an added advantage.
