SOX Compliance Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SOX Compliance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update SOX controls for internal applications and 3rd party products.
  • Support internal and external audits related to SOX compliance.
  • Work closely with engineering teams and application managers during SOX walkthroughs.
  • Manage evidence requirements initiated by internal audit.
  • Perform quality checks on evidence submitted by engineering and application management.
  • Support remediation efforts for SOX deficiencies.
  • Test and evaluate the effectiveness of SOX controls.
  • Document control testing procedures and findings.
  • Identify and report control deficiencies.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for SOX compliance activities.
Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Experience:
  • 5-7 years of experience in SOX compliance, internal controls or auditing.
Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certification:
  • CISA preferred.
