Job Title: Network Infrastructure Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Network Infrastructure Manager. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale data centre networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Centre Architecture: With your expertise in Leaf & Spine Architecture, you will design and implement highly available and scalable data centre networks.
  • Network Administration: You will oversee all network activities, including installations, upgradations, migration, incident management, performance tuning, reporting, and patching.
  • Switching and Routing: Your knowledge of switching, routing, and network equipment will enable you to configure and troubleshoot complex network setups.
  • Network Monitoring: Using tools like Cisco IOS, PRTG, NetFlow, etc., you will monitor network performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Large Scale Data Centre Networks: You will manage large scale data centre networks, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
  • Configuration Management: You will manage configuration changes of switches/routers when required and perform periodic backups of configurations.
  • IPSEC Tunnelling: Your ability to configure IPSEC tunnels between locations will enable secure communication between sites.
  • Advanced Network Features: You will provide support for advanced network features such as IPv4, IPv6, NTP, ACLs, Route-map, Prefix-Lists, PBR, AAA, TACAS, RADIUS, CEF, IPv6 CEF, SLA, TRACK, SNMP, EEM, Syslog, Flow-export, RADIO, EVPN-VXLAN.
  • Network Load Balancers: You will configure and troubleshoot network load balancers to ensure optimal resource utilization.
  • Fault Management: You will perform fault management of routers and switches, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
  • Troubleshooting: With your expertise in troubleshooting, you will quickly resolve complex network issues.
  • Monitoring Tools: You will deploy monitoring tools to identify problem areas and take corrective action.
  • Optimization: Periodically, you will fine-tune the network to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Asset Check: Regularly, you will check the proper functioning of the network and assets deployed.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in network infrastructure management.
  • Expertise in network administration, switching, routing, and network security.
  • Strong understanding of data centre architecture and network protocols.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
