What We're Looking For

We're seeking an experienced Cloud Native Engineer to join our team. If you have some experience building server-side applications and detailed knowledge of relevant programming languages, such as Java, you'll be a great fit. You should have a sound knowledge of a backend framework, like Spring or Spring Boot, and experience engineering scalable and reliable solutions in a cloud-native environment. Collaborating closely with Product Owners to understand user needs, business opportunities, and regulatory requirements is essential. You should be willing to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes, while maintaining a mindset of delivering secure, well-tested, and well-documented software. Our ideal candidate is someone who values good API design, understands the importance of security, and is eager to contribute to our event-driven Microservice Architecture.

Your Responsibilities

As a Cloud Native Engineer at Tide, you will contribute to the design, creation, and maintenance of our microservices architecture. You will define and implement RESTful APIs using Java 17, Spring Boot, and JOOQ, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration. You will also participate in code reviews, help identify and prioritize technical debt, and contribute to the growth and development of our engineering team. Experience with DevOps tools, such as Docker, Terraform, EKS Kubernetes, and monitoring tools like DataDog, is highly valued.
