Job Opportunity

Main Responsibilities:
  • We are seeking an expert to design and develop automation scripts using Python and Ansible to boost efficiency and minimize manual errors.
  • The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of frontend and backend development, including integration with various technologies.
  • Incident/change/problem management skills are required for mission-critical environments.
  • Familiarity with Fiber Channel SAN technologies, such as VMAX, VNX, HP 3par, Cisco & Brocade, is essential.
  • Maintaining expertise in managing different types of incidents and refresh-related work in FC technologies is a must.
  • SRDF and array-based replication tasks need to be performed effectively.
  • Fabric refresh processes in both Cisco and Brocade require careful planning and execution.
  • New arrays and fabric switches must be developed from scratch while adhering to industry standards.
  • Setting up host-based ACLs and performing host/SRDF migrations is crucial.
  • Decommissioning FC technologies and performing patch/installation upgrades are also important tasks.
  • Isilon and CDOT file storage management, as well as NAS migrations at large scale, are key responsibilities.
  • Supporting Broadcom Brocade G620, G720, 7840 – department class and Gen 6 and Gen 7 – director class switches requires advanced technical skills.
  • Large-scale fabric migrations necessitate planning, architecture, and implementation expertise.
  • Advanced knowledge of Performance and Capacity management for Block and File storage is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with IP-based Block storage – Solidfire, ScaleIO, Powerflex (a plus) is a bonus.
  • Basic UNIX management skills and software development experience in general-purpose programming languages are desired.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in automation, backend development, and frontend development is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of Python, Django, Angular, Ansile, Middleware, and Domain knowledge of Frontend and Backend development and integration is essential.
  • Experience in API integration - Storage APIs preferred.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, detail-oriented, interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Excellent debugging and trouble shooting skills are a must.
  • Flexible 24*7 global coverage may be required.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve project-related issues and follow through with set objectives.
  • Ability to deal with different stakeholder groups to elicit business requirements, procedures, and processes.
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work.
  • Team player and leader who shows commitment and dedication, and can maintain a positive attitude and high-level of performance on high-profile/time-sensitive initiatives.
