Business Finance Manager Job Description

We are seeking a Business Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in driving profitable growth across the region. The successful candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Deal Pricing & Governance: Oversee pricing for complex deals, ensuring optimal sizing, compliance, and margin safeguards.
  • P&L Management: Own the end-to-end P&L for assigned business units, reviewing financial performance monthly with Business/Function Heads.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting cycle and monthly forecasting exercises, incorporating revenue, costs, FX, and regional dynamics.
  • Profitability & Performance Analysis: Deliver monthly profitability dashboards and variance analyses, recommending actions to improve margins and cash flow.
  • Strategic Business Partnering: Provide actionable financial insights to business leaders, supporting strategic planning, GTM initiatives, and investment decisions.
  • Repository & Reporting: Establish repositories for deal pricing/cost sheets, track win–loss ratios, and maintain financial models for decision support.
  • Expense Management: Monitor OPEX, enforce budget controls, and ensure adherence to financial discipline across units.
  • Industry & Competitive Analysis: Track market/competitor movements in EMEA and highlight financial levers to strengthen positioning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong Expertise: In financial management, pricing strategy, and advanced financial modeling.
  • Deep Understanding: Of IT/technology services business models, including managed services and outsourcing.
  • Proficiency: In MS Excel, financial systems, and reporting tools.
  • Certification: Qualified CA is mandatory.
  • Experience: 8-12 years of progressive experience in business finance roles within medium/large IT/software/services organizations, with proven exposure to Global markets.
  • Leadership: Experience managing multi-geo P&L ownership and leading finance teams.
