Job Description

We are seeking a talented Business Tester to join our team, who will be accountable for developing test strategies and plans based on project requirements. They will execute functional and regression testing, report defects in a tracking tool, and ensure their closure through the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) process.

The ideal candidate should have knowledge and experience in Guidewire Policy-Claims-BillingCenter, Insurance domain, and Agile methodology. Proficiency in Agile Scrum, hands-on experience in Guidewire Policy-Claims-BillingCenter products, knowledge in PC Insurance Domain, SQL basics, and understanding of entire modules and their functionality by verifying Functional Specification and Style guide issued by clients is essential.

Responsibilities include writing and executing test cases for functional testing, maintaining bug reports and delivery note details, peer-review of test cases, sanity testing, smoke testing, regression testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing. Additionally, they will be involved in review meetings and walk-through meetings, attending status calls as needed to report on testing progress.

To qualify for this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, 2-5 years of experience in UAT business testing in Guidewire-Policy-Claims-Billing centre, Insurance domain with Agile methodology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to articulate concisely and clearly.
