Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with expertise in Node.js and React.js to design, develop, and scale secure, high-performance web applications in the travel domain.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Build responsive front-end applications using React.js, Hooks, Redux/Context, focusing on modular UI principles.
  • Develop scalable back-end services and APIs with Node.js (Express.js/Nest.js), incorporating REST API design with GraphQL as a bonus feature.
  • Integrate external travel APIs (GDS, hotel, car, flight) and real-time webhooks to enhance user experience.
  • Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) for efficient data management.
  • Implement caching strategies and performance tuning (Redis) to improve application speed and scalability.
  • Ensure data and application security by implementing JWT, OAuth2, PCI compliance, and OWASP best practices.
  • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and document technical designs, workflows, and APIs.
  • Monitor and improve scalability, fault tolerance, and cost efficiency to meet business needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in React.js, including Hooks, Redux, Context API, and modular UI.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS, and responsive design principles.
  • Solid hands-on experience in Node.js with Express.js or Nest.js, including REST API design and GraphQL as a bonus feature.
  • Experience in microservices architecture and third-party API integrations to enhance user experience.
  • Database expertise: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, with ORM/Query builders like Sequelize, TypeORM, and Mongoose.
  • Knowledge of caching, indexing, and query optimization techniques.
  • Strong understanding of data security, PCI compliance, encryption, authentication flows, and access control mechanisms.
  • Agile/Scrum experience, Git workflows, and code review practices to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Familiarity with travel concepts, including booking flows, PNR, GDS, fare/rate APIs, cancellations, and amendments.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • TypeScript experience and proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • CI/CD pipelines experience, including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, and Jenkins.
  • Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with caching strategies for travel data to enhance user experience.
