Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Architect to join our organization.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in architecting and implementing large-scale data solutions on cloud-based platforms, including data ingestion, transformation, and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data pipelines using Snowflake utilities, SnowSQL, and ETL data pipelines.
  • Develop and maintain complex data models using Python/Java.
  • Migrate data from relational databases to Snowflake and optimize Snowflake features such as data sharing, events, and lakehouse patterns.
  • Implement data virtualization and query acceleration using Dremio.
  • Ensure data security, access controls, and governance within cloud-native data platforms like Snowflake and Dremio.

Requirements:

Our ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, and big data technologies.
  • Proficiency in Azure Databricks, Spark architecture, and optimization.
  • Experience with data migration from RDBMS to Snowflake cloud data warehouse.
  • Hands-on expertise with Dremio for data lake query acceleration, data virtualization, and managing diverse data formats.
  • Rich experience working in Azure ADLS, Data Bricks, Data Flows, HDInsight, Azure Analysis services.
  • Strong understanding of data quality processes, methods, and project lifecycle.
