  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with development teams to design cloud-native applications and services that are optimized for the cloud environment.
  • Choose and Implement Cloud Services: Select and implement the most appropriate cloud services (e.g., compute, storage, databases, and networking) to meet application requirements while balancing cost, performance, and security.
  • Ensure Security Compliance: Ensure all cloud applications comply with security standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Establish Governance Policies: Establish governance and security policies for cloud-based application resources, including identity and access management (IAM), data protection, and encryption.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ Years of Experience: 10+ years of experience designing and implementing cloud-native applications and architectures.
  • Public Cloud Platforms: Expertise in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Cloud-Native Application Development: Strong background in cloud-native application development and cloud service integration.
  • Containerization Technologies: Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing.
  • IaC Tools: Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or equivalent.
