Enterprise Data Governance Strategist

The primary objective of this role is to develop and implement an effective data governance strategy, encompassing the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-wide data governance architecture frameworks and metadata models.
- Conduct maturity assessments and drive change management efforts to ensure seamless integration of data governance across the organization.
- Evaluate and recommend data governance frameworks and tools that meet the enterprise's business needs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Design and implement data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and data catalogs to facilitate data quality, consistency, and accessibility.
- Architect technical and business metadata workflows, govern glossary approvals, and streamline workflows to enhance data integrity and reduce errors.
Key Skills:
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, architecture techniques, and methodologies.
- Experience in designing and implementing data governance initiatives across diverse business enterprises.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python/Java for integration and automation, as well as hands-on experience with Collibra (workflows, APIs, metadata integration, policy automation).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address data-related challenges.
