Android Developer I Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Android Developer to join our dynamic team in Chennai and work on mobile applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in developing Android applications using Kotlin and Java, with a focus on performance optimization and scalability.

Responsibilities include designing and developing Android applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior developers.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams:
  • Define, design, and ship new features.
  • Code Reviews and Mentorship:
  • Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Performance Optimization:
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability.
  • Identify bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve application efficiency.
  • Stay Updated with Industry Trends:
  • Keep up to date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and techniques.
  • Implement best practices in mobile development to ensure the apps are cutting-edge.

The successful candidate should have expertise in integrating Android applications with RESTful APIs, SDK integration experience with third parties, and understanding of Firebase and Firebase Remote Config.

A strong proficiency in version control using Git is required, as well as experience with CI/CD integration and UI/UX design principles. Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
