Responsibilities: 

  • Participate actively in release and QA planning activities 
  • Determine the scope of work and prioritize tasks independently 
  • Design, develop, maintain and improve test cases and test plans according to specified requirements 
  • Report test results and defects; analyze and troubleshoot issues in software; develop and maintain automated tests 
  • Analyze test results and configure testing environments; design and enhance automation frameworks 
  • Participate in team meetings and adhere to established project workflows 

Required Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Ability to perform both automated and manual testing 
  • Understanding of software development life cycle and QA processes 
  • Perfect understanding of QA methodologies, including test planning, case management tools, bug tracking systems, and software development life cycles 
  • Ability to collaborate with product owners and developers, as well as work independently 
  • Self-motivated and quick to learn new technologies 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Proficiency in English at B2 level or higher 
  • Familiarity with Agile software development lifecycle and QA's role within it 
  • Proficiency with testing tools such as TeamCity, Cucumber, WebdriverIO, and experience coding in JavaScript 
  • Solid understanding of Page Object Model 
  • Experience with REST API testing 
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps 

Professional Experience: 

  • Minimum of 5 years in test automation and functional testing, including practical experience in automation 
  • Ability to work independently as sole automation engineer on a project
