Cloud Data Engineering Leader

Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned data engineer with expertise in cloud platforms and strong leadership skills. The successful candidate will lead the design, development, and operation of complex data processing systems on GCP.
The ideal candidate has over 8 years of experience in data engineering, including hands-on expertise in cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure. They should be proficient in GCP suite of products, including BigQuery, and have prior experience with MPP databases like Teradata and PostgreSQL. Additionally, they should possess strong analytical and collaborative skills with a commitment to continuous learning.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing low-level designs, building and operationalizing data processing systems, and acting as a subject matter expert in GCP data engineering. You will also contribute to organizational efficiency through process adoption, resource optimization, and tool implementation. Furthermore, you will lead small teams or projects from initiation to closure when required and drive process adoption, resource optimization, and tool implementation to enhance efficiency and quality.
