Job Profile Overview

Fabric Lead Position Summary:

A Fabric Lead is responsible for designing and overseeing the architecture of Microsoft Fabric solutions. This includes integration with Power BI, Synapse, Data Factory, and other Azure services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and oversee the architecture of Microsoft Fabric solutions
  • Lead a team of data engineers, BI developers, and analysts in delivering scalable and secure data solutions
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure timely delivery
  • Stay up to date with Microsoft Fabric features and updates
  • Define and implement data ingestion, transformation, and storage strategies leveraging Lakehouses, Data Warehouses, and Real-Time Analytics
  • Establish data governance, security, and compliance frameworks within Microsoft Fabric
  • Monitor and optimize data pipelines and queries for performance and cost efficiency


Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Requirements:

  • 9-12 years of experience in Azure Data Platform (ADF, Databricks, Synapse)
  • At least 1 year in MS Fabric (client implementation, not POC) projects
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure Data Services (Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake)

Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Effective leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
