Senior Legal Professional

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Legal Professional to join our team.
- This role will involve drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements that support business development objectives.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for structuring agreements to ensure alignment with the deal at hand and safeguarding the interests of the organization.
In this position, you will play a crucial role in shaping the legal framework of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting, structuring, reviewing, negotiating and finalizing agreements in line with business understanding and ensuring appropriate risk mitigation for the organization.
- Statutory Compliances - Reviewing statutory compliances at various locations and suggesting remedial measures. Working with concerned stakeholders to ensure remedial measures are put in place in a timely manner.
- Risk Mitigation - Understanding the business and analysing the risk involved and advising on mitigating liabilities for the organization.
- Advisory - Advising stakeholders from time to time on various issues.
Educational Qualifications:
- LL.B. / LL.M.
Knowledge and Skills (Functional / Technical):
- Drafting, vetting and negotiating various kinds of agreements within India and cross border.
- Exposure to Statutory Compliances, Litigation and Intellectual Property law would be advantageous.
- Strong negotiation skills and business and financial acumen.
- Strong communications and drafting skills, including the ability to draft high quality agreements and other documents.
- Well-versed in how business operates in high degree of professional ethics, integrity and gravitas.
- Ability to have influence across all levels of the business including peers and senior management, and able to work independently.
- Detail-oriented, have good judgement and sound risk mitigating skills.

Other Requirements (License / Certification & Specialized Training):
- Any other licenses, trainings etc. will be an added advantage.
