Job Title: Mobile Software Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and building advanced mobile applications for Android.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing high-quality, scalable, and maintainable mobile applications using Java or Kotlin programming languages.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and ship new features.
  • Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
  • Ensuring the best performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
  • Identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs.
  • Helping maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Android SDK and versions, handling different screen sizes.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs for connecting Android apps to back-end services.
  • Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
  • Ability to design apps around natural user interfaces, such as touch.
  • Familiarity with sensors like gyroscopes and accelerometers.
  • Knowledge of open-source Android libraries for common tasks.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
  • Expertise in benchmarking and optimization.
  • Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines.
  • Proficient with code versioning tools.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration.
