Job Summary

We are seeking a Distributed Control Systems Expert to join our engineering team. This role involves working collaboratively with colleagues to design, implement and test Distributed Control System (DCS) software solutions for various industries.

Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Leading the project team to ensure successful execution of the project within given timelines and budget.
  • Designing, implementing and testing DCS software applications.
  • Supporting project managers in tracking progress and monitoring resources.
  • Acting as the primary technical contact with customers throughout the project scope.
  • Developing design specifications and configuration guidelines based on customer requirements.
  • Creating project-specific SW HMI Library elements.
  • Involved in SW HMI implementation.
  • Conducting quality checks through technical reviews.
  • Developing Test Specifications and supervising/implementing Test protocols.
  • Participating in FAT/SAT/Commissioning.
  • Managing Technical Queries.
  • Maintaining vigilance on Scope creeps and Scope changes.
  • Raising project issues/risk proactively to lead engineer/PM, if possible, with mitigation plan.
  • Cultivating system engineer skills.
  • Coordinating with system integrators:
  • To provide clarity on scope, schedule and expectations on quality.
  • Reviewing and validating work before sending to customers.
  • Providing technical clarifications.
  • Ensuring timely and quality work.
