Cloud Infrastructure Administrator

At our organization, we're seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Administrator to join our Platform Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and administer AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery solutions are in place.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud and on-premises resources.
  • Analyze system performance, identify trends, and implement improvements to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards to protect cloud environments.
  • Administer company SaaS platforms, ensuring user productivity with tools like Okta and AWS Workspaces.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in implementing and managing AWS cloud solutions.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience administering Okta.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
