Job Overview:

We are building a Scanning Electron Microscope, India's first commercial platform to see the nanoscale, pattern it, and measure with precision.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop a timing and synchronization framework for optics, detectors, motion, and software to operate harmoniously.
  • Create mixed-signal boards for beam control drivers, detector front-ends, data-acquisition, and robust control I/O.
  • Evaluate power supply and grounding/shielding to achieve quiet images and strong electromagnetic compatibility.
  • Provide diagnostic tools, fixtures, and logs to facilitate issue identification and field-debugging.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of shipping mixed-signal/FPGA systems in instruments, vision, or semiconductor/robotics equipment.
  • Strong bench skills with oscilloscopes, analyzers, and bring-up; pragmatic about testability and manufacturability.
  • Collaborative mindset and emphasis on documentation; ability to think in interfaces and failure modes.

SUCCESS CRITERIA:

  • Deterministic operation across subsystems.
  • Stable, low-noise performance visible in images and analytics.
  • Lossless capture during long runs and efficient EMC pre-checks.
