Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing the general ledger, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with budget and forecasting.
The ideal candidate will have experience in financial reporting, general ledger management, and account reconciliation skills. They should also be proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements, manage the general ledger, and perform account reconciliations
- Assist with budget and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
Qualifications:
- Financial reporting, general ledger management, and account reconciliation skills
- Experience in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, tax return preparation, and audit support
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification or progress towards CPA is a plus
- Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceuticals industry is an advantage
This role involves analyzing financial data, preparing tax returns, and providing support for audits. The individual in this role will be expected to work both independently and as part of a team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
