Job Summary

Role: Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain data architecture principles, guidelines and standards.
  • Design and implement data warehousing, big data, data analytics, and cloud-based solutions using Python and Java.
  • Provide technical guidance to clients on best practices and technologies.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and coach junior data engineers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of data engineering concepts, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, including data pipelines and ETL/ELT systems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java, as well as proficiency in data visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good to have: experience with MPP systems, database systems, and data flow compute.

Desirable Qualifications: Google Professional Cloud Architect certification.
