About Our Frontend Engineering Role

As a key member of our engineering team, the frontend engineer will be responsible for designing and building the user interface and user experience of our web applications. This requires strong expertise in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js.
  • Expertise in responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest and Cypress.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop highly interactive and user-friendly web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  2. Build reusable and scalable UI components and pages using React.js.
  3. Implement pixel-perfect designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness using various CSS methodologies.
  4. Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring an excellent user experience.
  5. Write unit and integration tests for frontend components and effectively debug issues across the application stack.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4-6 years of professional experience in front-end web development.
  • Strong understanding of core web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Proven experience with React.js and its ecosystem.
  • Demonstrable strong proficiency in Vanilla JavaScript, with a deep understanding of core language features and browser APIs.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with other JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as Next.js and Vue.js.
  • Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack and Vite.
  • Experience consuming RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
