Our Golf editorial team is looking for a skilled content editor to help us produce high-quality articles that engage our readers.

We are one of the leading sports entertainment digital media publications in the world, garnering over 100 million page views every month. We believe that editors have the highest authority when it comes to creating content that meets our readers' expectations.

The editorial team is responsible for verifying the accuracy of statistical data and facts, proofreading, and enhancing the quality of content before it goes live on our website. While we value inherent skills and talent, we believe that intent, attitude, and passion matter more than anything else.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit and publish 20-25 articles daily.
  • Proofread articles to ensure no errors remain and check plagiarism before publication.
  • Research to verify the accuracy of facts and identify incorrect claims.
  • Publish articles in a timely fashion for priority news-based articles.
  • Mentor and guide writers to refine their quality, output, and performance.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations of writers in the Golf division.

  • You have a strong interest in Golf or are keenly interested in learning about the sport.
  • You have a good grasp of the fundamentals of the English language and American culture.
  • You are quick with fact-checking and enhancing the editorial quality of content.
  • You take ownership of publishing articles on time and are flexible for event-coverage days.
  • You have leadership qualities, are a good judge of character, and have a knack for people management.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6-12 months of experience in proofreading and/or content editing
  • Prior experience of leading a team of writers would be an additional plus
