Job Title: Senior AEM Author

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AEM Author to join our team. As a Senior AEM Author, you will be responsible for managing AEM authoring tasks, including content creation, updates, and optimizations.

Your primary focus will be on organizing and maintaining DAM for efficient asset management, ensuring SEO best practices are implemented in content structure and metadata, and performing QA on web pages to ensure content accuracy and business alignment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage AEM authoring tasks, including content creation, updates, and optimizations.
  • Organize and maintain DAM for efficient asset management.
  • Ensure SEO best practices are implemented in content structure and metadata.
  • Perform QA on web pages, ensuring content accuracy and business alignment.
  • Create and maintain testing checklists for content QA.
  • Work with development, design, and marketing teams to execute content changes.
  • Utilize AEM components, templates, content fragments, and experience fragments.
  • Audit content for SEO compliance and performance metrics.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience as an AEM Author.
  • Expertise in AEM (6.4 or higher) authoring, taxonomy, and DAM.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO principles and implementation within AEM.
  • Proven QA experience with checklist creation/maintenance.
  • Hands-on with Content Fragments and Experience Fragments.
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS for content management.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with AEM Cloud and content migration processes.
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are not mandatory but would be beneficial:

  • Experience with AEM Forms, AEM Sites, or other AEM modules.
  • Agile development environment experience.
  • Exposure to digital marketing and conversion optimization.
  • AEM Certification (preferred).
