Compositing Artist Opportunity

The role of a compositing artist is crucial in bringing visual effects to life. We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a compositing artist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality photorealistic composites using industry-standard software such as Nuke or equivalent tools.
  • Combine live-action, CG elements, matte paintings, and other assets into seamless final shots that meet the creative vision of the project.
  • Collaborate closely with VFX supervisors, leads, and production teams to ensure that all shots are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Maintain consistent quality throughout the project while meeting deadlines and solving technical challenges during compositing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the compositing process.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in compositing in a studio environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Nuke, as well as knowledge of other compositing software, is highly desirable.
  • A good understanding of color, light, perspective, and integration is essential.
  • The ability to take feedback constructively and implement changes quickly is critical.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong eye for detail are necessary for success in this role.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with rotoscoping, paint, or prep work would be beneficial.
  • Basic knowledge of 3D compositing and multi-pass integration is a plus.
  • A passion for storytelling and visual aesthetics is highly valued.
