Job Opportunity: Test Automation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Test Automation Specialist.

About the Role:

  • This is a challenging opportunity for a motivated professional with experience in automated testing using Testim.
  • The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality, possess a strong background in automated testing, and thrive in a collaborative Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Testim for Web and API applications.
  2. Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and convert them into comprehensive automated test cases.
  3. Build and manage robust test suites for functional, regression, and integration testing.
  4. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  5. Analyze test execution results, document and report defects, and provide feedback to developers for quick resolution.
  6. Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
  7. Contribute to test automation strategy and framework enhancements for better scalability and maintainability.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in test automation, with a strong emphasis on Web application testing.
  • Hands-on experience with Testim is mandatory.
  • Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript (preferred), with familiarity in test libraries like Selenium WebDriver.
  • Experience integrating test automation in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • In-depth understanding of Agile testing methodologies and test management tools such as JIRA and TestRail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Good to Have:

  • Experience in REST API testing using Postman, REST-assured, or similar tools.
