Job Title: Cybersecurity Threat Response Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive threat response analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity incidents in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Threat Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor and analyze logs, alerts, and security events using advanced SIEM tools and technologies.
  • Incident Response: Detect and respond to security incidents such as phishing, malware infections, privilege escalation, and data exfiltration.
  • Investigation and Triage: Perform initial triage, investigation, and escalation of potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Containment and Eradication: Conduct incident response, including containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident analysis.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work with other IT/security teams to investigate security breaches and identify root causes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience: 4–5 years of hands-on experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or equivalent cybersecurity role.
  • Strong Understanding: Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and security tools.
  • SIEM Experience: Experience working with SIEM platforms, endpoint detection tools, and forensic analysis tools.
  • Cybersecurity Frameworks: Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO)
  • Log Analysis and Packet Capture: Familiarity with log analysis, packet capture tools (Wireshark), and threat intelligence platforms.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills and ability to document technical information clearly.
  • Shift Work: Ability to work in a 24/7 or rotating shift environment (if required).
Preferred Skills:
  • Cloud Security Monitoring: Experience with cloud security monitoring (e.g., AWS, Azure Security Center).
  • SOAR Tools: Familiarity with SOAR tools and automated response workflows.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, GIAC, Splunk Certified User/Analyst.
  • Scripting Skills: Scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) for automating SOC tasks.
