IT Infrastructure Management Role

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team as a Systems Engineer. This is a full-time and permanent position based in India, offering regional coverage.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure management, including Active Directory, Windows Server OS, Virtualization, and Storage Devices. Experience working in a Service Desk environment operating within an ITIL framework is also beneficial.

This role involves building and maintaining effective relationships with peers, IT Regional Managers, and OPS teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Escalating daily operational issues for IT Infrastructure
  • Overseeing operational tasks and ensuring proper documentation
  • Working closely with the business for changes or requests for new services
  • Providing support in solving incidents, service requests, and problems
  • Executing resolutions of all incidents and problem enquiries

In addition to technical skills, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, fluent English, and experience working in a global team. They will also be able to prioritize, organize, and multitask while working in a busy environment.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 8-10 years of IT experience in similar roles of IT Infrastructure management, Wintel Admin
  • Service Delivery / Client Orientation / Customer Service
  • Advanced technical troubleshooting skills
  • Full coverage to support business hours
  • Communication / responsiveness, Analytical Skills / Troubleshooting Skills
