Key Financial Leadership Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled finance professional to take on a key leadership role in our financial operations. As a senior finance executive, you will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of financial closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, managing detailed analyses, and coordinating with auditors.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Closing & Reporting
  1. Ensure the accurate and timely closing of financial books at the end of each accounting period.
  2. Comply with accounting standards and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) during the closing process.
  3. Prepare the fixed assets register and conduct regular scrutiny of the balance sheet, profit & loss account, and cash flow statements.
  4. Coordinate the preparation of consolidated financial statements, including balance sheet, profit & loss, and cash flow analysis.
  • Financial Analysis & Planning
  1. Conduct in-depth analysis of assets and liabilities, as well as profit & loss accounts.
  2. Perform variance analysis comparing historical periods and budgeted figures.
  3. Examine working capital schedules, AR & AP ageing, and inventory ageing.
  • Auditing & Compliance
  1. Liaise with internal and external auditors; coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
  2. Provide necessary documentation and clear explanations during audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Process Improvement & Internal Controls
  1. Review and enhance financial processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
  2. Develop and implement best practices in financial consolidation and reporting.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Team Leadership
  1. Communicate complex financial information and strategic insights to senior management and key stakeholders.
  2. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals to ensure high performance and continuous professional growth.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • Minimum 5-year post-qualification experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Good understanding of Accounting Standards.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Growth and target-oriented.
