Job Title: KYC Data Specialist I

  • As a data specialist within our KYC team, you will be responsible for implementing data standards, guidelines, and procedures.
  • You will handle and maintain confidential client documentation, collect and verify client data, and review client data/processes to meet quality standards.
  • This role provides an opportunity to engage with the Middle office and be part of KYC interactions, offering a challenging and rewarding environment for growth and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Implementing data standards, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Maintaining confidential client documentation.
  • Understanding firm requirements when completing documentation inclusive of Customer Identification Program (CIP), Minimum Due Diligence (MDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), Local Due Diligence (LDD), Specialized Due Diligence (SpDD) and Product Due Diligence requirements (PDD).
  • Reviewing client data/processes to meet quality standards.
  • Interpreting alerts and communicating to management when applicable.
  • Engaging with Middle office and being part of KYC interactions to complete cases as per timelines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Graduate Degree.
  • Knowledge of KYC is essential with at least 9 years experience in related fields.
  • Strong research, analytical and comprehension skills, with ability to analyze large amounts of data.
  • Client focused with great customer engagement skills.
  • Experience in adhering to controls and compliance standards.
  • Self-starter with high levels of commitment & motivation to work with data, fix issues and achieve success in a team environment.
