Job Overview

To ensure the achievement of disbursement targets with minimum delinquency, this role involves identifying joint liability groups and disbursed loans to suit target customers and geographies.

The successful candidate will enable business growth by developing and managing teams across assigned territories for deeper market penetration and reach.

  • This position assesses potential client base and product acceptability in new regions, areas & opportunities for geographical expansion of operational areas.

Maintaining portfolio quality is a key responsibility, including tracking & controlling normal dues, non-starters, delinquency, & frauds.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Disbursement, repayment, and delinquency management, achieving daily / weekly collections targets.
  2. Closely following up on disbursed loans, especially those not paying on time.
  3. Undertaking regular field visits, centre meetings, and loan applicants.
  4. Building strong client relationships internally and externally, as well as brand identification with potential customers.
  5. Ensuring weekly / daily meetings and visits to centres.
  6. Freshers to maximum 5 years' experience as sales officers in microfinance businesses are preferred.
  7. A basic understanding of microfinance business and JLG model working would be an advantage.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relationship management and business sourcing.
  • A flair for sales.
  • Understanding critical attributes of customer service.
