Master Procurement Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end commercial and procurement aspects within all IT categories, including hardware, software, outsourcing services, cloud, and SAAS.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing end-to-end commercial and procurement aspects within all IT categories.
• Ensuring proper spend categorization.
• Leading and executing strategic/tactical projects, applying proper sourcing approaches, and drafting detailed statements of work.
• Managing senior stakeholders and establishing relationships.
• Advising internal business partners on end-to-end procurement processes, policies, templates, RACI, deal risks, and possible risk mitigation steps.
• Ensuring full procure-to-contract compliance with applicable sourcing processes and policies.
• Independently executing RFP/RFO processes for assigned categories, including contract negotiation, vendor selection, and contract awarding.
• Defining and implementing plans in line with category strategy, decision trees, and playbooks.
• Consolidating supplier bases and pursuing alternative sources to ensure uninterrupted supply of services in a cost-effective and quality manner.
• Conducting periodic market research for assigned categories, monitoring market trends, and supply/demand factors to inform decision-making.
• Establishing regular communications with key internal business partners to ensure agreement and adoption of category strategies.
• Accurately collecting and reporting project data, contracts concluded, and associated expenditure and financial impacts.

Required qualifications and skills include:

• Minimum 8-12 years of experience in sourcing or procurement.
• Significant experience in procurement/sourcing and contracting for cloud services.
• Understanding of analyzing category cost structures.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills at same and higher levels of organization.
• Experience with electronic procurement/sourcing tools (Ariba, Ivalua, PeopleSoft, etc.).
• Strong understanding of end-to-end source/procure-to-pay processes and tools.
• Experience working in a strong compliance and regulatory culture, driving policies and procedures internally and externally.
• Strong risk and control culture and understanding of supplier screening programs with ability to evaluate and mitigate potential business risks.
• Strong presentation skills, including experience using Excel pivot tables and PowerPoint to support analytical techniques and data presentation.
• Ability to extract detailed procurement requirements from internal business stakeholders and translate business requirements into contract language.
• Ability to proactively identify material, unmitigated business or contract risks and find solutions.
• Tenacious and resilient approach with collaborative style, capable of navigating matrix organizational responsibilities and global regions.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with strong organizational skills and ability to manage an increasing book of work over time.
• Excellent English communication skills required.
• Engineering graduate degree.
