SAP Data Archival Expert

This is a unique opportunity to work as an SAP data archival specialist, focusing on the technical aspects of server administration, data archiving, and incident management.

Responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Add or remove authorization to file servers for efficient data management.
  • Manage Windows file servers, including creating new folders with authentication to enhance data security.
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to file servers to ensure smooth data operations.
Data Archiving Expertise
  • Extract and transfer archived data to buyers in a timely manner.
  • Document maintenance activities, changes, and configurations for transparency and accountability.
Software Management Skills
  • Install and configure Enterprise Scan application for effective data scanning.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Enterprise Scan and WinViewer applications to minimize downtime.
Reporting and Collaboration
  • Provide regular progress updates and knowledge sharing during Agile ceremonies.
  • Update work items in ADO boards and team OneNote for seamless collaboration.
Incident Management
  • Assess and resolve incidents within ServiceNow and email notifications efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support project teams in testing archive functionalities to ensure data integrity.
  • Migrate and upgrade replication servers to improve data efficiency.

This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in SAP data archiving, server administration, and incident management.
