Data Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Data Infrastructure Specialist to design, implement, and maintain foundational infrastructure that supports our blockchain platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management and a deep understanding of blockchain ecosystems.

You will be responsible for creating efficient, scalable, and secure data infrastructure solutions using AWS cloud technologies and database management systems like RDS, PostgreSQL, and Aurora.

Your expertise in automation tools, particularly Terraform, Terra-grunt, and Atlantis, will enable us to streamline our infrastructure provisioning and maintenance processes.

Your technical skills and experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana), and container orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) will help us achieve high availability and reliability across our blockchain systems.

You will work closely with development, DevOps, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and support of blockchain applications.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is required, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in AWS infrastructure engineering.

Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration, networking protocols, VPNs, and firewalls is essential.

You should be able to participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.

Security best practices and a proactive approach to incident management are also key requirements.

Bonus Skills: Experience with consensus protocols, node architecture, and soft skills like problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong communication skills will make you stand out as a top candidate for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create efficient data infrastructure solutions using AWS cloud technologies.
  • Maintain high availability and scalability across blockchain systems.
