Job Opportunity: Taxation Leader

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to lead and oversee the smooth execution of tax operations for our group entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tax Payments & Compliance
    • Manage payments of TDS, Advance Income Tax & Security Transaction Tax (STT)
    • Verify reports prepared by the team and authorize payments
    • Collate financial data to ensure accuracy and timely statutory compliance
  • Tax Return Filing & Certification
    • Validate TDS, Service Tax & STT returns for filing
    • Ensure accuracy of statutory certificates (Form 16A, etc.)
    • Prepare & coordinate STT return filings as per regulations
  • Audits & Assessments
    • Prepare income computation reports & liaise with auditors/consultants
    • Address queries from auditors and tax authorities
    • Support scrutiny cases and attend hearings where required
  • Litigations & Appeals
    • Coordinate with consultants for appeals at Tribunal/High Court/Supreme Court
    • Approve statutory fees & ensure documentation of cases
  • Other Activities
    • Review & validate regulatory submissions
    • Ensure STT applicability on new securities

Requirements:

  • Essential: CA / MBA (Finance) with 8–12 years of relevant experience
  • Desired: LLB or additional qualifications in Capital Markets
