  • Job Description:
  • As a Underwriting Enablement Expert, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs to enhance the skills of underwriting professionals. This role involves analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and creating effective solutions to address these gaps.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs that cater to the needs of underwriting teams. These programs should cover essential skills such as risk assessment, document analysis, and decision-making.
  • Create educational materials, including manuals, guides, and online resources, to support underwriting professionals in their development.
  • Collaborate with underwriting teams to identify knowledge gaps and develop targeted training interventions.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subject matter experts to ensure that training programs remain relevant and up-to-date.
  • Conduct regular reviews of training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Qualifications:
  • 4-8 years of experience in retail or home-loan underwriting with hands-on decisioning and policy interpretation.
  • Proven training or mentorship experience, comfortable teaching beginners and non-technical learners.
  • Strong grasp of calculations and documents, including FOIR/DTI/LTV/EMI, income proofs, bank statements, and credit bureau reports.
  • Fluent in English and Telugu.
